The journey to now: week 32

Cymraeg

This week has been an exciting one to say the least! On Saturday, I decided (with a lot of persuasion from Danny) to start writing a blog to log my pregnancy journey. Something for me to look back on in years to come, and to remind me how amazing the journey to motherhood really is.

Whilst pressing ‘publish’ on my first post, my nerves were going through the roof thinking about all the different people reading (and possibly judging) my blog post.

I feel so grateful for all the messages saying that people have enjoyed reading my blog, thank you everyone!

While I’m writing this, I’m officially down to my last four weeks in work, which is slightly terrifying! This means that I only have around eight weeks until my world will be completely consumed by this tiny person who will depend on me for everything. Good luck to him I say as I nearly walked out of the house this morning without a bra on! If my head wasn’t attached to my body, I think I’d forget that as well!

Things to do in the coming week:

  • Start buying bits for my hospital bag
  • Aim to work out at least four times (I’ve been awful over the past week)
  • Research into what to include in my birth plan
  • Start sorting the little man’s nursery!

Baby G’s furniture is arriving tomorrow, so are me and Danny going to be an item by next week? We’ll see!

Speak soon,

Annest x
